After getting a facial piercing, it’s essential to maintain proper care to ensure healing. Clean the piercing twice daily with a saline solution, and always wash your hands before touching it.
Avoid harsh products, twisting the jewelry, and applying skincare or hair products near the piercing. Let clean water run over it during showers, and pat it dry with a disposable towel.
Monitor for signs of infection and follow your piercer’s aftercare instructions. Avoid swimming, smoking, and alcohol, and be patient, as healing can take 6-12 weeks or more.
