Originally from Vietnam, Tai’s passion for art was shaped by growing up immersed in Asian art. That early exposure to Asian-inspired arts became the foundation that eventually led him into the world of tattooing. He studied Art at Ly Tu Trong High School in Saigon, Vietnam, graduating in 2012.
Since joining HyperInkers Tattoo Studio, Tài has been driven by the mentorship of his boss and the daily inspiration he draws from working alongside talented coworkers. He is committed to being the best version of himself — a mindset that has already produced impressive results, including a 1st Place in Medium Black and Grey at the 2025 San Antonio Tattoo Convention.
Tài Hoa specializes in Black and Grey, a style in which he has quickly established himself as a rising talent among the best black and grey tattoo artists in San Antonio.
What inspires you as an artist?
Watching my coworkers every day inspires me. Being surrounded by skilled artists pushes me to grow and constantly raise my own standards.
